AiGrow uses Artificial Intelligence systems to offer farmers the best agronomic practices that promote crop viability and reduce the resources needed and environmental footprint of extensive agriculture.
Our goal is to create a fully autonomic and functional Artificial Intelligence system that will guide farmers to improve the quality of their crops, while reducing the cost and amount of resources (such as nitrogen fertilization and water consumption) required for the cultivation process.
AiGrow aims to combine existing data and existing knowledge to reduce water consumption or meet plant needs for micronutrients in a large-scale database that will feed Artificial Intelligence System and will be able to provide large-scale precision agricultural customized guidance
The benefits of creating an Artificial Intelligence system (AI) through a high-quality database are manifold:
Reduction of cultivation costs through the precise application of resources in specific parts of the field. As it follows using optimal cultivation practices leads to reduction of the number of resources required (water, nutrients, pesticides, etc.) for cultivation.
The farmer can grow a more environmentally friendly product, and in accordance with European legislation and the global trend of reduced nitrogen application in the fields.
